LINDSAY PHILIPPE

Lindsay first visited Haiti in 2010 after having graduated from Grace College, Winona Lake, IN. Her passion to work alongside children coupled with a radical call to missions brought her back  to Haiti in 2011 to live, disciple, and found Heart Soul Mind Strength, Inc. (HSMS).

Lindsay has done building projects, feeding programs, community outreaches, team hosting, children’s ministry and education. She speaks Haitian Kreyol fluently and knows and understands the culture as well as a foreigner could because of how immersed she has lived with the Haitian people. Despite the past years being difficult work with many helpers coming and going, Lindsay has stayed faithfully true to the vision of HSMS to see the children grow into the leaders for Jesus that will one day impact Haiti's future. 

Lindsay is now joined by her husband Vanold Philippe who has embraced the HSMS vision alongside her. They both work tirelessly to see HSMS grow and impact more and more children in Haiti through Christ-centered education and discipleship.

Lindsay comes from a family of 8 siblings and was raised in Leesburg, Indiana.

VANOLD PHILIPPE

DIRECTOR

 Vanold was born and raised in Jérémie, Haiti. He has 4 brothers and 1 sister. His father past away at age 8 but was taken care of by a strong and confident God-loving mom whom Vanold contributes everything of who is is today to her teaching him about principles of life and Jesus.

In 2017 Vanold joined the Haitian National Police (PNH). He works in the Bureau of the Protection of Minors, protecting the rights of women and children in the region of Grand'Anse. In 2022 he finished his  Science of Education bachelors degree  with Cornerstone Christian University (FL).

Vanold has an unashamed passion to make a difference in his country. He  is adamant that Haiti can and will be changed for the better and he will be an instrument of that change!

Vanold loves the vision of HSMS to disciple and raise up the next generation in Haiti. He has become a vital part of the advancement of the HSMS vision since his coming on board alongside Lindsay, his wife. He has the biggest heart coupled with big vision. Together, Vanold and Lindsay make a strong team that only time will tell how great will be the things that God will do through them for His glory.
